jamesmcd79 The new mix is great. I had this album back when it originally came out, and this is like a high-def. version, especially in the bass...Very happy to be getting this on vinyl.

Jack Pfiester Mix is definitely clearer and the individual parts are more discernible than the original mix but overall a remix just didn't seem necessary.

Also, removing the harsh vocals is absolutely criminal. Bad decision.

Obstacle of Affliction What a fucking phenomenal "remix" of a true classic. Just damn sweet like spreading honeybuttter on warm toast, yeah that good. Do yourself a favor a revisit this delight. Favorite track: The Space For This.

I can safely say that after jamming this album for 3 years, it is hands down my FAVORITE death metal album. I've never been able to pick a favorite before, but every single thing about this album is just perfection. Flawless production, god-level riffage, ride cymbal work that rings through to your bones, bass lines that perfectly accentuate the rhythm and the riffs, and of course HAIL MOLLUSCA Hatch
